And so an era ends…
Some friendships can last and last no matter what life throws at them, some don’t last any distance at all and some just can’t survive. When N falsely accused me of shagging his girlfriend Kel up a back alley, he then immediately phoned up Genie and told her what he thought he saw – she phoned me – I exploded.
An hour and a half of Genie calming me down I felt a little better but still fuming inside and hell-bent on vengeance. I caught up with N a couple of days later and had it out with him at a local pub, then left him talking to G. I left for another pub before I had the chance to explode at him again.
A week later G and his woman H came ever nearer to blows initiated by Kel (N’s other half), eventually they too lost their tempers with N and Kel and the altercation had to be broken up.
A week has passed since then and we have all both blanked and been blanked by N and his pathetic ways – I wish him all the best in his own private hell. He had four good friends and now he doesn’t.
